Alex Tapscott and his father make quite the team and were quite the influential pair. However, with a recent scandal where Alex Tapscott’s crypto endeavor falsely advertised several of their investors for their Crypto VC Firm and had to kill their public listing and return investors money, he has lost some of his credibility. While his knowledge on the blockchain is still excellent, your trust in that knowledge should be wary. With this recent scandal he has shown that he doesn’t always publish the truth, and who knows if the knowledge he is keeping is true and accurate, or if he’s falsifying other things and keeping the truth for himself.
As with most investors he does often talk about his own endeavors. However, he also is quite knowledgeable on the industry as a whole and provides interesting insights, strategies, and opportunities around the block chain. This makes him a good person to follow for general information, as well as if you’re invested in his projects. However, I’d make sure to fact check the information you gain from him before acting on it.
Alex Tapscott is quite active on twitter. Tapscott typically posts a couple times a day, and is very up to date with the goings on in the concurrency world. He does not have a very prominent presence on other social channels. However, he is very prominently featured
While Alex Tapscott used to be one of the top influencers to follow, he has lost some of his credibility as of late. He is still a good person to follow so long as you’re diligent in doing your own research as well. Perhaps in time he will gain back the trust he has lost and once again find a place among the top influencers.
