There are a few concerns that arise after doing research into BTCTrade.com. One concern being it that was difficult to find any information in regards to their security efforts. No registration or audit could be found. Also, the unprofessional look of the international website also throws up some red flags for the lack of security. If you’re looking into using BTCTrade.com do your research before to ensure your funds will be safe.
The exchanges bid-ask spreads can be up to 30% or more. At that high of a rate, BTCTrade can hardly be considered as a serious trading platform. However, when looking at the trading history it is surprising to see that some people, not many, are still willing to trade despite the costs.
BTCTrade.com only allows you to trade Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin. Not much at all. And the fact that they let you trade Dogecoin over other coins is also a red flag.
Ease of Use
Because there isn’t too many functionalities with the site, it makes it easy to use for the most part. The only thing that makes it annoying is the poor translation from Chinese to English. Again, the lack of professionalism is a red flag.
Overall BTCTrade is most likely not a good place to go to buy or trade crypto. With so many other exchanges out there now, it’s not hard to find one that is reliable and trustworthy. Take a look at our other exchange reviews to find one that would better suit your needs.
