There hasn’t been any news of hacks or funds getting stolen but the main reason CoinExchanges gets a low score for security is because they don’t offer any insight as to who they are or where they are located. Their “About Us” page has only some vague statements about security and customer service. This appears to be a little sketchy. You should, for the most part, know where you are sending your money to and they don’t even offer up that information.
CoinExchanges fees are slightly below average. Trading fees are 0.15% per transaction making it slightly better than most of its competitors.
CoinExchange offers a large library of 100+ altcoins that you can buy.
Ease of Use
The system might seem a little overwhelming at first due to all the numbers that are on the dashboard but if you give it some time and play around with it, you’ll pick it up pretty quickly. Like most exchanges, it’s pretty self-explanatory and it shouldn’t be hard to get the ball rolling.
Overall CoinExchange is a decent exchange in all areas other than being transparent about their security and location. If you can look past that, then CoinExchange might be a good fit for you. With low fees and a large number of coins being offered, you’ll be able to get well diversified in the cryptocurrency space.
